Nostrand Homes is truly a family business. Monty and Trina take pride in the relationships they build with customers throughout the construction process and after your home is complete. They recognize the huge investment of money, time and passion that each family gives to a project of this size and scope. They understand, because they did it for themselves.

Seventeen years ago Monty and Trina dreamed up and built their own home which has grown from being a home for newly-weds to a home filled with their four children – and numerous pets of all shapes and sizes over the years. They know how personal it is to build a home and how important it is to plan for the present and the future.

Monty and Trina will listen carefully when you talk about your needs and priorities. Your daily routines, style, energy needs and plans for your future will shape every decision they make with you – every step of the way.

Monty has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years, with a focus on building custom homes for the last 15. Monty has done it all from dirt work, foundation, framing and more. He is very hands-on even now, jumping in with the crew at every stage of the building process. On top of his 20 years of experience, Monty was born and raised in the Grand Valley and chose to raise his own family here. He’s built homes across the Valley and has experience helping clients navigate the ins and outs of city and county codes.

Trina has been in the home purchase, building and design industry in one way or another since graduating from Mesa State University with a degree in Business Management. For seven years she helped families bring warmth and character into their homes as the store and sales manager of Ashley Furniture and Ashley Furniture Home Store. Trina spent five years with a national mortgage company as an account executive and senior loan originator which provided her the knowledge to provide current clients with guidance and insight into the financing and home buying process. Now she works closely with the homebuilder and the Nostrand Homes’ team to design and finish each home with the functionality and personality to make it your own.
